REACHING NEW ALTITUDES, DONOVAN ADVERTISING ADDS HIA TO ITS CLIENT BASE
Return to top

Lancaster County, Pa.- With clients like Hershey's, Rutter's Farm Stores and Woodstream Corporation, one area ad agency is becoming the go-to firm for Central Pennsylvania based businesses.

That was one of the deciding factors for Harrisburg International Airport as it recently selected the team at Donovan Advertising and Marketing Services as its agency of record.

"We want to work with an agency that has a depth of experience in regional and national account work," said Scott Miller, Deputy Director of Marketing and Public Relations at HIA.

"Not only does Donovan have that experience," continued Miller, "but their team will provide us with a strategic perspective that will assist HIA as we move forward with several new initiatives."

There will be plenty of Harrisburg International Airport work for Donovan to accomplish. HIA is served by seven major airlines with approximately 100 flights daily to 13 non-stop destinations.

"All of us are excited to begin work on this important, regional account," said Bill Donovan, CEO and president of Donovan. "We look forward to helping the facility and its partner airlines reach new heights."

"With Donovan's understanding of the current business environment," said Miller, "we will explain to area travelers how HIA is convenient, saves them time and resources and, ultimately, why its success is good for Central Pennsylvania."

The team at Donovan will be responsible for the airport's overall branding efforts including HIA's marketing and advertising; public relations; and the establishment of a businesses travelers' initiative.

"Donovan will help us identify and involve interested business and corporate travel planners from the region. We need these key decision makers to become involved in the air route development process," said Miller.

"The first step is to learn where the business traveler is going when not departing from HIA," said Donovan. "The next step is to educate the airlines that the numbers they want are here in Central Pennsylvania."
