Summary:
Just as gas prices were starting to make news, Rutter's convenience stores and Donovan developed this timely promotion. The Rutter's Fuel Up Free Gas Giveaway was designed to increase drive-up traffic to the stores as well as foot traffic within the stores. Offering consumers a chance to win three years of free gas also gave Rutter's an opportunity to further strengthen their relationship with their customers. Out-of-home advertising, point-of-purchase displays, print advertising, collateral, radio and Web pages were used in this campaign. The promotion was a resounding success and garnered a great deal of media coverage. |
