Million Impressions Gained
Consumers. Love. Local. So we couldn’t have been more excited when a small chicken operation in Sonoma came to us to help grow their footprint in the local area. We knew they had the right ingredients to entrench themselves in their Sonoma community and engage the locals, it was just a matter of amping up what they’re doing to make an impact. So how do you make a local brand…more local?
OUR SOLUTION - Experiential
Grab a Food Truck and hit the road! Had we ever run a full-time food truck program before? Nope, but we figured it out – bought and outfitted a truck. Hired a chef. Got the right permits. Nailed down logistics. Found events locals love and set up shop. We became a fixture at local events throughout the Sonoma County area. So much so that consumers asked where we were if we missed one.
OUR SOLUTION - Advertising & Media
We scoured the available media outlets to find the placements that would maximize our reach for our extremely specific consumers. We even broke ground on some new ones too. Our hyper targeted media was featured on Ferry Signs, Billboards along specific highways, bus signage, radio ads and local magazines.
OUR SOLUTION - Retail
A great thing about having a food truck? You can give shoppers a taste of your product before they head into the store! We sampled our chicken at retailers all over the Sonoma area. In-store POS reminded consumers that this is the chicken they just enjoyed (and were probably given a coupon for.)
OUR SOLUTION - Trade
Another great thing about having a food truck? You can feed the people you want to impress! We catered corporate events for our retailer partners to let them taste the local difference and experience how our food truck could drive shoppers to their stores.
OUR SOLUTION - Social & Influencers
We also connected with Sonoma locals in their everyday lives through our social channels. With recipes, local favorites, updates on the food truck and even a partnership with California culinary icon Tyler Florence, we showcased our Sonoma roots to engage with the local community.
Since we’ve launched, the Rocky & Rosie Chicken brands become synonymous with the Sonoma County area, and locals know to look for the brands at local events and retailers.
